Geva Theatre is a hidden gem tucked in the heart of Rochester, NY. The historic theater hosts a variety of performances and events, and boasts about it’s intimate seating options. But lately the theatre has been drawing crowds primarily 50+ years in age, missing the vital connection with younger demographics.
To help build the future of the theatre, I worked with the client to develop a new youthful direction for the brand using elements from around the theatre to assemble a consistent style then organized into a brand standard. This personalized direction was then applied to social media, print ads, and other marketing channels to create a focused message tailored to gain the attention of a younger audience.
This reinvigorated brand was then used to create a fully responsive website design that reflected the theatre experience. Implementing user feedback and reporting, I then worked alongside Makeway Agency to further refine the e-commerce ticket purchasing experience, develop a virtual tour of the theatre, and create a custom content management system.
